We are incredibly proud of our care team and recognise that their ongoing training and development, with an understanding of End of Life Care, is central to providing service users with the very best care.
Palliative care is specialised medical care for individuals with serious illnesses. We focus on providing such individuals with relief from the symptoms and stress of a serious illness.
Our goal is to improve the quality of life for the person we are trusted to care for. We work closely with each individual’s medical team to provide an extra layer of support. Palliative care can be for any person, of any age, and at any stage in a serious illness and can be provided along with curative treatment.
Palliative care focuses on symptoms such as pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, constipation, nausea, loss of appetite, difficulty sleeping and depression. It also helps you gain the strength to carry on with daily life.
At GHC, you can be assured of your comfort and independence with our certified carers. We pride our services on providing quality care and support services to our service users while retaining their independence in their ow homes.
